Our Editorial Team

Modern Holistic Living Editorial Team

A small brand editorial team of researchers, writers, and product reviewers behind every guide, review, and directory entry on Modern Holistic Living.

A stack of research books, a leather notebook, a fountain pen, a sage plant, and a ceramic mug — the reference desk behind Modern Holistic Living's editorial work.

How we work

We publish under a single brand voice rather than personal bylines. Guides are researched from primary literature, written by editors with backgrounds in health and consumer journalism, and reviewed by at least one other editor before publication.

This structure lets us keep guides current as new evidence emerges — and it keeps the focus on the reader's decision, not on personalities.

What we cover

  • Non-toxic cookware and PFAS-free kitchen systems
  • Water filtration for PFAS, lead, chlorine, and microplastics
  • Low-toxin skincare and sensitive-skin routines
  • Safer baby and nursery products
  • Deodorants, toothpaste, period care, laundry, and toilet paper
  • Household materials science (glass, stainless steel, silicone, ceramic)

Editorial standards

  • Every recommendation is researched, drafted, and reviewed by at least one editor other than the writer.
  • Product recommendations require independent evidence — third-party certifications, published testing, or ingredient-level review — never a brand's marketing page alone.
  • Affiliate relationships never influence which products enter the directory. Disclosure is public and specific.
  • Corrections are logged transparently and applied to every affected page, not silently rewritten.

Research & review methodology

Our research, evidence, and review workflows are documented publicly. Each guide follows these same practices.
